Re: Proposed ‘Field of Hope’ in Dallington Park
You may be interested to hear about a ‘Field of Hope’, proposed by the Friends of Dallington Park and supported by Marie Curie Cancer Care.
The ‘Field of Hope’ will be situated in the park on an area of grass at the top (south) end of the car park.

Northampton Borough Council, which owns Dallington Park, will prepare the ground during the week commencing 1st November and planting of daffodil bulbs will take place on Wednesday 10th November. Some bulbs have already been donated by a few local businesses and local schools have offered the support of children to help with planting. The Friends Group and Marie Curie Care need to buy more bulbs in order to make an excellent display.

The purpose of this letter is to explain what is taking place in your park and to ask if you would be willing to make a donation of either daffodil bulbs or money, and to assist on the planting day. If you are able to make a contribution in any of these ways or wish to know more, please contact one of the people below before 31st October.

Thank you for your interest in the ‘Field of Hope’ for Dallington Park.
